Bringing paying customers to our platform can be a great way to bring income to your business and help our business offer a better range of products and services.
Whilst we have many different products and services, we are restricting the range through which selling is offered.
This article sets out the general framework for resellers, and how we can help them to prosper.
Nothing in this document should be taken as an offer, or commitment to a working relationship. A separate arrangement will be agreed between Info Rhino Limited. It is for informational purposes only. This article may be behind latest terms and conditions.
Feel free to contact us if you have any queries.
A seller should capture the spirit of Articles > Partnership > How to approach Info Rhino to collaborate. Leads shouldn't be spammed. Leads should be treated with respect and we advise researching their business to see how our product can directly help the organisation.
It should be clear that you are a seller and are completely independent from our business. We permit use of certain logos for sellers. We will also provide customer provided content to help give some unique searchable content if required.
Our business is high quality, low volume, higher price, as our solutions have a longer time frame to implement. This means we won't be providing thousands of solutions a year. For this reason, there is probably a natural ceiling to the number of products you can sell.
Our suspicion is we won't have more than 20 active resellers.
You have an existing relationship or establish a new relationship with a customer, that leads to a sale event for Info Rhino Limited.
You host content on your own website which when clicked on a link, leads to the client following through to our website to complete a sales event. We will always do our utmost to not simply rely upon technology to establish if a referral happened.
You could be a solutions provider who not only develops your own software, but are providing development on the project. You may be developing additional functionality for our platform.
A sale is only made when we get paid. We charge clients 75% upfront and 25% on completion. Your fee would thus be your commission of the upfront payment and completion payment.
If a payment provider intervened acting against our favour, these fees drop to 0.5%. We don't foresee this occurring.
We pay the commission in GBP. We are considering using cryptocurrency for overseas providers in the future if they so wish. The point at which pounds are converted to a currency is the final amount paid.
We are happy to provide small content snippets, or ideas to help you improve your chances of success.
It will be expected you will have a strong level of understanding about our solutions, in particular, the products you are selling.
We will expect to have at least 2 calls. During these calls we will discuss your background, experience, and expect to see a CV. If you are a larger organisation, it may make sense to focus on the staff who will be doing the selling plus a senior meeting.
Naturally, it is always preferable to meet in person but this cannot be a certainty during these uncertain times.
We retain basic data, and expect you to notify us of any changes for GDPR purposes.
You decide for yourself, but you will typically have a website. On that website you will have a page with information about the products you want to list. You will have a specific link which will help us identify clicks through to our website. You keep a track of visits to your website, ensuring you adhere to legislative privacy guidance.
We do our best to identify links on re-referrals. We will always listen to sellers who feel they passed on a client.
You may prefer to contact leads directly. You may decide to handle the sales process up to the point of where we agree the project implementation schedule. We will be formalising this process.
We are considering using push notifications to social media as a mechanism to attract interest to our platform. You may find posting a referral link and content may be a stronger pull than traffic through your own website.
We have capacity to release 16 web data platforms per year. Applying crude mathematics, we calculated this to be £20,362. We are considering an incentive scheme to reward stronger sellers.
Remembering we have other products and services coming on stream, this pot should increase significantly.
Our recommendation is that small outsourcing companies may see it worthwhile seeing this as a small additional income stream. Some websites focus on reselling/marketing, and adding this revenue stream can be an excellent approach.
Sometimes a referee cannot remember who referred them. Other times, they may become a client having visited multiple websites. We will make a decision and that decision will be final. In some circumstances, we will offer a discretionary goodwill gesture.
It may be you no longer wish to be a seller, or we decide the scheme needs altering. In some situations, serious violations of the spirit of how we wish to engage with clients may mean we have to cease our agreement with a seller. In this and other situations, we will simply agree to end the relationship. All content relating to Info Rhino should be removed. Naturally, if any payments are outstanding, they will be met.
