How to approach any company when selling services
There has to be research and knowledge on what the prospect does, who you think or know a prospect's clients are, and have undertaken gap analysis on where you think you can help them improve.
We have built our products with a number of key business verticals who would benefit from our solutions. If we do contact these companies, it is because we have looked at what they are presenting and how we can help them.
Our products will work in many commercial sectors we may not know about too. Again, if we have a new potential sector to go into, we will research it. This is the least any software provider can do.
Don't make the customer have to understand how your business works
Software is a complicated business. Often, just to understand a potential solution, or run some trial software, a prospective client may have to review the software over a few weeks. Making the customer do all the running is lazy and unprofessional.
So if you contact us with something of a commercial nature, please give us a bit of a hand in understanding how we can work together.
If we have challenging deadlines, we will already be looking into additional resources. Partnership is about discussing about shared products and services to reduce the risk of not meeting deadlines.
